automated so once your account is set up,

to manage even multiple properties with
hundreds of units.

What types of fees are charged?
There are NO registration fees, NO monthly
minimums and NO annual fees. The fee structure
is based on the transaction occurring and
the mode of payment used by the tenant.
The fee could be paid by the Property Owner
or Manager, Tenant, or split in 50/50.

transaction fees assessed to the tenants
depending upon the mode of payment used.

properties or units needed for a Property

who may have many properties with several
units all over the country.

How do I create an account with Tenantplus.com?
All you have to do is go to the home page
of our site and press the violet “
Register Now ” button, which is located
on the right-hand side of the page underneath
the user login counsel. After completing
the simple registration process, you will
be able to add your properties and the units
within those properties that would like
to pay their rent electronically. Our system
will generate a unique security code for
each unit, which should be given to each
tenant to activate their account. Once their
account is activated, they can begin to
pay their rent through one of our convenient
payment methods and their rents will be
automatically deposited into your account!

occur?
Electronic funds transfer, as it applied
to rent collection/payment, is the transfer
of money initiated through our website from
a tenant's account into the account of the
Property Owner/Manager.
The flow of money can be broken down into
three steps:
- The Tenant submits their payment information
through our encrypted site.
- Tenantplus Corporation's system verifies
and validates the transaction.
- The Payment is then transferred into
the Property Owner's/Manager's account.

How long will it take before the funds are
deposited into my designated account after
a rent payment is made?
The funds are transferred 48-hours after
the payment is made, which is reflected
in the billing history. The funds will be

account 72-hours after the initial payment

What happens if the Tenant's rent payment
is denied? Does Tenantplus act as a collection
agency?
Tenantplus is only a facilitator of electronic
transactions between parties by providing
an alternative to traditional rent payment.
The collection of rents and related payments
are the legal responsibility of the Property
Owner or Management Company. Tenantplus
does not act as a collection agency.
If the Tenant has insufficient funds, Tenantplus
will collect and retain the charges it incurred
while attempting to process an unsuccessful
payment. Tenants are responsible for paying
any other fees assessed to their account
by you, the Property Management Company;
the Automated Clearing House System; or
their own bank for attempting to process
a payment with insufficient funds. It can
take 5-7 days for a check to “bounce”;
therefore, if the funds were already deposited
into the Property Owner's/Manager's account,
they will be withdrawn by Tenantplus.

Can I only collect money for rent, or are

You can use Tenantplus to process an electronic
payment for anything you charge a fee for,
including: late fees, monthly parking dues,
application fees, down payments/security

to do On-the-Spot transactions even if the
person paying the fee is not a registered
tenant!

Your “Manage Properties” account
is fully customizable for each unit. You
are able to enable or block late and accept
or deny partial payments, as well as assess

Why does Tenantplus use security codes to
activate tenant's accounts and where can

Tenantplus uses security codes so that
each tenant registers their account under
the corresponding unit information that
their Property Owner or Manager input into
the system. To ensure that each unit is
properly registered, Owners and Managers
are given unique security codes for each
unit. These security codes can be discarded
after use because they are only used for
the initial activation of their account.

If you have not created your account yet,
you need to register for your FREE vacancy
posting account . If you already have an
account, you must log in with your username
(e-mail address) and password. Once you
have logged in you will be on the “
My Account Page”. Under the paragraph
of text, you will see “ Accounts for
Service Groups you have registered for”.
Click the “ Post Vacancy ” Option,
which will take you to the “ Manage
Your Vacancies ” page. From the “
Manage Your Vacancies ” page, you
can post a new vacancy, view your current
listings or view your vacancy stats. The
“ Vacancy Stats ” option is
where you can track how many people have
viewed your property.

obtained by contacting your Property Owner

security code issued by your property manager
below” . After you have entered your
5-digit security code, select the violet
button labeled “ACTIVATE”.
Once your account is activated, you may
begin to pay your rent by utilizing one
of our convenient payment methods and your

you do not have a security code, please

the settings on your account to allow your
payment to be processed. If they do not
want to or are having trouble changing the
settings they can process your payment through
a spot-transaction. If you or your Property
Owner or Manager is having problems please

What is Auto-pay and how can I set it up?
Auto-Pay is a convenient way to pay your
rent automatically by having our system
debit your designated account for the exact
amount of your rent every month on a pre-specified
day. As with all transactions that you make
on Tenantplus.com, your manager will receive
instant notification that you have paid
your rent. Auto-Pay will also send you a
reminder in advance before your account
is debited. You must be registered and have
an active Tenant account with us to pay
your rent using our system. If you do not
have an account, you should REGISTER NOW.
If you have already logged into www.tenantplus.com,
you will have a username (e-mail) and password.
Once you have signed in, you will be on
the “My Account” page. On the
top of the page, underneath the silver/grey
tabs on the top left-hand corner, you will
see “Set up Auto-Pay” in grey
lettering (as you run your mouse over this
option, it will turn orange); select this
option. When you get to the “Auto-Pay
Set up” page, you need to select your
unit number and the frequency with which
you would like the Auto-Pay to occur, and
specify the date of the debit. Below, you
must select the type of account you would
like your payment to be taken from and enter
your account information. Press the “Submit”
button. The Auto-Pay option costs an additional
$1.00 per transaction.

What is the difference between paying with
a bank account and using a debit card?
Paying your rent using a debit card is
not the same as using a bank account/electronic
check. Debit cards are processed similar
to credit cards, so they have different
service fees attached to them. Using a bank
account to pay your rent on our system rather
than a credit or debit card can save you
a substantial amount of money if you are
paying rent with our system.

Who will maintain records regarding transactions
made through my account?
Tenantplus will maintain all records attributable
to your account. These records will contain
information regarding which units have made
payments, how much the payments were for,
and the day and time the payment occurred.
You will have access to such records upon
request.

Is Tenantplus bonded in case of employee
theft?
Yes. Tenantplus currently has a $100,000
bond per employee in case of employee theft
of funds handled by the company. No employee
will handle over $100,000 of transfers a
day.

on our search system. Unfortunately, we
do not have Corporate Housing or Short-term
leasing specifically in our search criteria;
however, if a Property Owner or Manager
posts an ad for Corporate Housing or Short-term
leasing, they will generally add that information
to their description.
